My son is 10 and is playing in kid pitch baseball. He started pitching last year, and has played 1st base for 4 years. He is very big for his age ,at 5'4 wearing a size men's 11. I have to buy new cleats for every season (spring,fall ball, and for the last 2 years summer all star team) that's a lot of shoes and money. For the past 2 seasons I've purchased an extra 2 pairs. Bc he has wide feet no cleats are comfortable and some were actually hurting, leaving bruises . Not only that, but they dont aeem to last either. Laces breaking, solea tearing, and dont get me started on the inside literally coming apart. I could never find baseball cleats in wide, and finally I found new balance that offer 2E not 4E but still it was something. They were better and helped pain and bruising some, but still. Not quite there. Then I found Sqairz. Read a lot did some research and made the jump. And let me say. We will never go back to another cleat! The extra wide toe box, oh my gosh. He said his feet could finally not be contorted into his shoe. The extra cushion inside helped dramatically with his pain. Every step especially rounding the bases he said was so painful before and now felt like air. He said he feels as if he can run and jump better.
